My coworker mentioned this to me one day and I have been hooked ever since. I use it to prevent hangovers, but it has been so helpful for days I travel since my access to water at times are limited. I will note that this isn't magic (close to it!) and you really need to make sure you drink a tall glass of water with it for it so be super effective. Either way, I will be a long time user and I hope they don't stop making these!
I've been using Brode for close to 10 years now; I used to get the worst dehydration migraines (was knocked out every other weekend) - and I had horrible charley horses, particularly at night - the doctors suspected (and still do) restless leg syndrome.
So I started to take Brode preventively - whenever I could feel the migraine sneaking up on me (usually on Fridays after a long week; I would see blinking lights and feel dizzy), I'd take a pouch of Brode - and it was gone in 20 minutes - instead of spending all weekend knocked out. They also got rid of the charley horses and cramps.
These days (as I'm getting older) - I take one pill (half a pouch) preventively every day - just for hydration.
Using regularly for bike riding and yard work and workouts, especially during the heat this summer.
Mostly use em to mellow out a hangover, but recently started using for sports and other dehydrating activities. Also river floats, but that's kinda back to helping with a hangover...
Even if you don't drink alcohol, Brodes are a great supplement for dehydration or low electrolytes. I also found they help with jetlag.
